Nick Hirst BSc(Hons) BArch RIBA
Trained as an Architect at the University of Bath, Nick Hirst was successful in the SPAB Philip Webb Award (1998), and the Archetype National Student Competition (1997) during his studies. He was awarded the Lethaby Scholarship (SPAB) from an international shortlist in 1999.
The direct construction experience gained from 10 years of practice continues to inform the integrity and realism of his illustration work, particularly when representing proposed schemes not fully designed or detailed.
He was awarded the Royal Institute Young Artist of the Year Award, an RIBA Graphics Prize, and has exhibited his sketchbooks at the Royal Academy. He has recently contributed to the second edition of ‘Understanding Architecture through Drawing.'
